The leading Hendersonville landscape design and build firm, Milosi, donated their services to the Hendersonville Public Library as part of the nationwide “Day of Service” put on by National Association of Landscape Professionals on April 22nd 2015.
As part of the day of service, 25 of Milosi’s employees volunteered to provide landscape services for the Hendersonville Public Library. The Milosi team refurbished the library’s landscape in a matter of hours! The team was able to weed and clean out all the plants beds, trim the trees and shrubs on the property, apply 40+ yards of mulch and install a Sensory Garden for the children’s area. Everyone came together to make this day successful. Samara Farms donated the Sensory Garden plants and Southern Nurseries donated the mulch.
“Our team and partners are excited to help the Hendersonville Public Library. I love to read and want this center whose mission is to aid residents in their educational pursuit to be both beautiful inside as well as outside. It’s important to get children involved in gardening at young age. The sensory garden should provide the platform of education for children both fun and interactive.”
